Stone James, Economic Development Director for the City of Cathedral City, talks with John McMullen about the victory of attracting Amazon and 152 jobs to a site that has sat vacant for the better part of two decades. It's a big win for Cathedral City, as the recovery from economic blows due to COVID-19 begins. They also talk about how Coachella Valley residents can support another important business and landmark: D'Place Entertainment's Mary Pickford Theatre, which is operating a temporary Drive-In theatre and will be able to reopen with limited capacity soon as Riverside County advances to the Red tier.
